Dr Vikram Sagar joined Life Medical Imaging in early 2026, having previously practised on the Central Coast and in Queensland. He obtained his medical degree from Maulana Azad Medical College, University of Delhi, and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) in 2016. He has also completed the FRCR (UK).

His specialist interests include MSK and spinal interventions, CT guided and ultrasound-guided injections, aspirations, drainage procedures, fine needle aspiration (FNA), and core biopsy. Dr Sagar is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care with a focus on accuracy and safety.

Dr Niall Fennessy

Dr Niall Fennessy is a sub-specialty trained General Radiologist reporting remotely for Life Medical Imaging. With a special interest in musculoskeletal, Dr Fennessy completed a six-month musculoskeletal fellowship in 2022. He graduated with honours from University College Cork in Ireland in 2012 and completed his registrar training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney in 2017.

Dr Mark Cooper

Dr Mark Cooper is a General Radiologist reporting remotely for Life Medical Imaging. He is experienced in CT, ultrasound, angiography, and general radiology. Dr Cooper graduated from the Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Melbourne in 1982 and, is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Radiologists which he obtained in 1991.

A/Prof Maged William

A/Professor William is a Cardiologist and fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians since 1998. He is a holder of a PhD degree from the University of Sydney in cardiac cellular electrophysiology. He is a staff specialist cardiologist at both Gosford and Wyong hospitals and is the Department Head of Cardiology in the Central Coast Local Health district since 2011. A/Prof William consults in his rooms (Gosford Cardiac Clinic) and is a VMO at Gosford private hospital and is an Associate Professor at Newcastle University. His clinical interest is focussed on heart failure, pacing and arrhythmia management.

Dr Nicklas Howden

Dr Howden obtained his medical degree from the University of Sydney in 2015 and went on to complete his Physician training at Royal North Shore Hospital followed by Cardiology training here on the Central Coast at Gosford and Wyong Hospitals. He further honed his expertise with a fellowship in Advanced Cardiac Imaging at Royal North Shore, making him a high-level reporter in CT Coronary Angiography (CTCA), Cardiac MRI and structural cardiac echocardiography.

Dr John Mooney

Dr Mooney is a highly trained and experienced cardiac imager, with over 10 years experience. He started internship and residency in Gosford and Wyong hospitals, and completed Cardiology training at Westmead Hospital, as well as being awarded his PhD from the University of Sydney. Subsequent training in Cardiac imaging (CT/MRI) was through fellowship in Advanced Cardiac Imaging at St Pauls Hospital, Vancouver, an internationally recognised centre in Cardiac Imaging. This included a high volume of complex cases under high level supervision and mentoring. He achieved and maintains both Level B CT accreditation and SCMR level III accreditation, being the highest tier of accreditation and able to supervise trainee’s.

Dr Mooney has worked back on the Central Coast since 2018, and established the Cardiac MRI service, the Rapid Access Cardiac Clinic, and greatly expanded the Cardiac CT capability within the Central Coast Local Health District. He routinely reports on coronary CT, cardiac CT and CMR with all aspects of pathology, and regularly liases with other departments and services including Cardiothoracic surgery, Structural cardiology, Oncology and Haematology. He regularly teaches cardiology trainee’s in cardiac imaging, has over 20 publications, routinely attends conferences and peer discussions on cardiac imaging, and is conducting ongoing research into preventative cardiology. He routinely reports Structural cardiac CT on the Central Coast, as well as for the Structural Cardiac Service at Macquarie University Hospital, one of Australia’s busiest structural services. He also performs and reports transthoracic echo and trans-oesophageal echo routinely.

Dr Mooney was one of the first Cardiologists to work with Life Medical Imaging, helping establish its Cardiac CT service, and has seen it grow and develop over the last 5 years.

His particular interests include: Cardiac CT and CMR, Cardio-Oncology (including Cardiac Amyloid), preventative Cardiology, Structural Heart disease and Cardiomyopathies.

Dr Adam Bland is an imaging cardiologist who completed an advanced fellowship in cardiac imaging at Prince of Wales Hospital in Sydney, with training across the Central Coast, as well as the Northern and Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. Recognised for his natural communication skills and ability to connect with patients, Dr. Bland specialises in preventive and diagnostic cardiology with subspecialist expertise in cardiac CT, cardiac MRI, echocardiography and the early diagnosis of coronary artery disease.

Dr Parkinson is a consultant interventional Cardiologist, raised in Sydney’s Northern Beaches. He completed his Bachelor of Science (Physics) and post-graduate Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Sydney. He undertook physician training at Royal North Shore Hospital, and specialist cardiology training though the Central Coast and Northern Sydney health networks to attain his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. He completed further dedicated training in cardiac intervention and treatment of coronary disease (stenting) through an interventional fellowship at St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney.

Dr. William Meere is a local cardiologist whom trained at the University of Sydney Medical School. He completed his junior medical years and general physician training at the Prince of Wales Hospital, followed by cardiology training at Gosford and Royal North Shore Hospitals. He provides comprehensive care that not only treats current heart problems but also focuses on preventing future issues. His approach combines the latest medical evidence with a personal, empathetic manner, ensuring patients feel supported at every stage of their care. Passionate about restoring patients to full health, Dr. Meere enjoys connecting with people and helping them return to their lives and loved ones. He has a particular interest in advanced cardiac imaging, using it to gain deep insights into heart health and guide effective treatment strategies.

Dr Tony Kull

Dr. Tony Kull is a highly experienced general and interventional cardiologist with over 25 years of dedicated service on the Central Coast. He is a founding member of the local acute heart attack service (STEMI) and one of only four local doctors providing this critical, life-saving care to patients experiencing heart attacks. Dr. Kull works out of his private rooms, as well as Gosford and Wyong Public Hospitals, and Gosford Private Hospital, offering comprehensive cardiac care to the community. His extensive expertise, commitment to patient care, and strong presence in the region have made him a trusted leader in cardiology on the Central Coast. He provides personalized care to each patient with patient centered decision making to ensure the best possible outcomes.
