• Back-to-Work Pack: A dedicated imaging pathway for rehabilitation and manual therapy clinics, includes spine/pelvis X-rays and a rapid report summary to support treatment planning and return-to-work decisions.
• Bulk Billing: Available where Medicare eligible. Gap fees published only if required by site.

Medicare Benefits Schedule – Imaging Items (Effective 1 July 2025)

Osteopaths can refer eligible patients directly for specific diagnostic imaging services under the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS).

These item numbers cover common regions and conditions related to the foot, ankle, and lower limb, helping podiatrists access essential imaging that supports timely diagnosis and treatment.

Below is the current list of MBS item numbers for podiatrists, as outlined in the schedule effective from 1 July 2025.

Referral forms are available via our website or through your practice software. Patients can walk in for spine/pelvis X-rays or contact us for priority bookings under the Fast Spine X-ray Pathway.
