Medicare Benefits Schedule – Imaging Items (Effective 1 July 2025)

Chiropractors can refer eligible patients directly for specific diagnostic imaging services under the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS).

Below is the current list of MBS item numbers for chiropractors, as outlined in the schedule effective from 1 July 2025.

  • DEXA: Not eligible

How to Refer

Referral forms are available to download via our website or through your practice management software. software. Patients can attend as a walk-in for X-rays or book via phone for combined X-ray + ultrasound appointments.
